AREAS
OF PRACTICE
(3.0) Banking and Finance Law
Banking law is a field in which we have extensive expertise. We work with the largest banks operating on the Polish market, handling over twenty thousand court cases nationwide – and the number continues to grow each day. Among the most significant matters we deal with are those concerning Swiss franc loans, WIBOR-related claims, unauthorized transactions, and debt recovery. These cases are managed by a dedicated team of lawyers specializing in banking law.
Our team members are actively involved in the work of the Polish Bank Association, particularly in matters related to litigation concerning credit agreements. Their knowledge and experience are reflected in frequent invitations to participate in projects and initiatives addressing issues of key importance to the banking sector.
An equally important aspect of our cooperation with the banking sector is the preparation of legal opinions and the provision of pre-litigation services under separate mandates.
(3.1) Labour and Employment Law
Our specialized Employment Law Department provides comprehensive legal services to some of the largest employers – not only in Poland, but also on a global scale. Our Clients include nationwide retail chains, manufacturing companies across various industries, and shared services centers.
We offer the full spectrum of legal support: from consultations on day-to-day employment matters, through the preparation of legal opinions and training programs, to representing employers in litigation throughout Poland.
The specific nature of employment law requires our team to remain ready for immediate response and ongoing support to HR departments. By maintaining constant contact – including direct telephone access – we provide our Clients with prompt and effective legal assistance on a daily basis.
Our services also cover managing employer relations with trade unions and other employee representation bodies, as well as supporting employers in sometimes difficult discussions or negotiations with social partners. The team advises on handling employee complaints related to issues such as mobbing or harassment, often assisting or directly participating in the work of internal committees investigating such claims.
We also provide employers with support in the process of legalizing the stay and employment of foreign workers.
Our offering is further complemented by a wide range of training sessions – for management board members, managers, and employees at all levels. These include anti-mobbing workshops, training on effective planning and correct accounting of working time, programs dedicated to employing foreign nationals, as well as training focused on personal data protection.
(3.2) Corporate and Business Law
This department brings together specialists in a wide range of areas, including commercial and corporate law, real estate law, copyright and intellectual property law, contract law, unfair competition matters, and white-collar crime. We provide comprehensive legal advice to our Clients, including litigation services, the preparation of corporate documents, legal opinions, and a broad range of training programs.
